Under a joint-venture with Johor Special Water (JSW), we are currently establishing the largest desalination plant in this part of the world – the 250MLD Seawater Desalination Plant to supply Demineralised Water to the Pengerang Integrated Petroleum Complex (PIPC).

The plant will be commissioned in early 2023, supplying demineralised water to the Petroleum & Petrochemical Industries in PIPC. This gives us an edge as the permeate quality will reduce their cost by 50% in the treatment of the water by the industries to pure or ultrapure water.

Construction process is expected to take 10 years in phases:
Phase I   : 50,000 m³/day in 2025
Phase II  : 50,000 m³/day in 2027
